Long Trail Day 2024 was Saturday Sept. 21
Long Trail Day is GMC's Annual Community Fundraiser
In 2024 our section's Team, the Bread Loaf Loafers, raised $1,461 in support of the LT.
Our team raised the 4th most funds as a team in support of the Green Mountain Club. We also led four hikes, the most LTD hikes of any section. All the funds raised support GMC and the Long Trail.
Great job and thank you to all our donors and participants.

In addition to our hikes and fundraising the section also celebrates members who have made an impact over the years.
In 2023 we dedicated our LT Day fundraising event to Jan and Harris Abbott, long-time members of the Bread Loaf Section. For more than forty years they have been giving back to GMC and we are inspired by their work.
